The last four miles to the reservoir is a continuous climb that is well rewarded with an exhilarating downhill return. The entire route is 18 miles round-trip and distances can be varied. Follow the Strawberry River Road (Forest Road #049) approximately 5 miles to a large corral. To reach the reservoir, bear to the right onto Forest Road #093 at the corrals. The entire route is considered intermediate because of the length and vigorous climb to the reservoir, although a shorter ride along the Strawberry River road would be a great experience for beginners and families. Be alert for vehicle traffic on the entire route and ATVs along the Mill B Road to the reservoir.
