The Soapstone Campground is located at the beginning of very popular Mirror Lake Scenic Byway route. There is a recreation pass required for all vehicle (regardless of day-use or camping use), plus an additional fee for camping. There are self-pay stations located at the entry points in Kamas, Utah, and the Wyoming state line, as well as along the route. Bring exact cash to pay the recreation fee. This campground is equipped with picnic tables. Recreation activities include lake fishing and hiking.
