Heber City, Utah— Witness the action-packed thrill of skijoring as some of the best in Utah’s ski industry combine with cowboy heritage for a wild ride and competition. Watch athletes paired with horse and rider as they ski through the snow-covered course to compete for placement in the annual Skijoring Utah event. Held at the scenic Wasatch County Events Center rodeo grounds, this year’s event will be on Friday, February 16th and Saturday, February 17th.

Enjoy the dynamic display of skill and speed as horse and rider teams tow fearless skiers and boarders through a challenging course complete with gates, jumps, and rings. Picture the intensity of a downhill ski race mixed with the thrill of a rodeo – where the snow meets the saddle.

Joe Loveridge, owner of RMO Horses and co-founder of Skijoring Utah, said, “Skijoring Utah is back, combining the speed of skis with the power of horses. It's a celebration of Utah's ski legacy and cowboy lifestyle in one event. And we love hosting it in Heber Valley!”

Join us for two days of excitement as competitors vie for buckles, cash, and prizes. The Wasatch County Events Center will be transformed into a playground of winter sports and cowboy culture. Spectator tickets, available in VIP, General Admission, and tailgate spots are on sale now and sell out early. Registration is open to all competitor levels. The competitions commence at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 16th, and 9:00 am on Saturday, February 17th.
