Heber Valley, Utah (June 17, 2024) — The second annual Gordon Law Group Red, White, and Blue Festival is poised to illuminate Heber Valley with a vibrant celebration of patriotism and community spirit on Thursday, July 4th, 2024. From dawn till dusk, the festivities promise a day of engaging activities and entertainment, creating an unforgettable Independence Day celebration with small-town charm.
The festival will commence with an early breathtaking display of hot air balloons traversing the valley skies and signaling the beginning of a day teeming with festivities. The morning's highlight will feature the annual Main-to-Main 10K and 5K races and short family fun run, generously sponsored by Intermountain Health Heber Valley Hospital, open to both seasoned runners and family participants alike.
Following the races, all are invited to partake in a patriotic walk and bike parade, an opportunity to showcase national pride as participants walk and ride through Heber City Main Street Park. A sumptuous chuckwagon breakfast will then follow, courtesy of Heber Valley Rotary.
From sidewalk chalk art contests to a kid’s carnival to artisan booths, there's something for everyone to enjoy throughout the day. Local vendors will line the park, offering delectable treats, handcrafted treasures, and more at the bustling Heber Market. As the day progresses, live musical performances will enhance the experience, culminating in an evening concert featuring patriotic melodies and popular hits – all setting the stage for an awe-inspiring fireworks display that will illuminate the night sky.
"The Red, White, and Blue Festival embodies the essence of community unity and national pride," remarked Dallin Koecher, Executive Director of the Heber Valley Chamber, Tourism, and Economic Development office. "We are honored to extend a warm invitation to all to join us in commemorating our nation's independence in the heart of Heber Valley."
