Soldier Hollow Nordic Center Renovations
This Olympic venue will undergo major renovations and an expansion of its competition building this year with construction beginning in spring 2023. Much of the construction work will be completed in time for Soldier Hollow to host the IBU Biathlon World Cup in March 2024. The final project will be done by early summer 2024. The existing building of approximately 7,670 square feet will see renovations. The expansion will increase square footage by an additional 19,115 square feet. Once complete, the competition building will house Nordic ski rentals, athletic training area, ski lockers, and preparation area on the ground floor; day lodge, cafe, retail space, ticket office, and lounge area on the first floor; and a new hospitality, event hosting, and community or meeting space on the second floor. Additional bathroom facilities and locker areas will also be added. This important expansion project of the Soldier Hollow site further supports the state of Utah to once again host an Olympic Winter Games in the future. Learn more about this venue.
