Intermountain Heber Valley Specialty Clinic has expanded its facility and services. The team will celebrate with a community open house event to showcase more specialized medical services and new medical providers.
WHAT:
In response to the growing population in Wasatch County, the Intermountain Heber Valley Specialty Clinic has been remodeled and expanded to increase access for patients to local medical specialty providers and is hosting a ribbon cutting and community open house on Friday, June 21. The first 200 attendees will receive a prize.
This newly expanded clinic is significant for the Heber Valley community because it means many Intermountain patients will no longer need to travel outside of Wasatch County for specialized medical clinic appointments.
The clinic will bring several medical specialties into one convenient clinic location. The clinic space will house new specialties including ear nose and throat care, sleep medicine, and neurosurgery. A new urologist, Richard Vanlangendonck, MD, will also be joining the clinic later this summer.
Cardiology and pain management services have moved to the new specialty clinic space from the Heber Valley Clinic, and cardiology will expand its capability to do echocardiograms, including stress echoes. The clinic will continue to house gastroenterology, dermatology, and general surgery services.
