DEER VALLEY RESORT; PARK CITY, UTAH (November 16, 2022) – To celebrate historic early-snow conditions Deer Valley will open in November for the first time in decades on Tuesday, November 29, 2022. Additionally, Deer Valley Season Pass holders are invited to a special preview on the afternoon of Monday, November 28, 2022.
Over the last three weeks, Deer Valley has received over 60 inches of natural snowfall paired with ideal temperatures for snowmaking. These early-season conditions have created a unique opportunity to thank our season pass holders, local skiers and resort staff with early mountain access and quality ski conditions.
“The start of ski season always brings a lot of energy and anticipation and it's even better when Mother Nature delivers ideal conditions right away,” said Deer Valley President and COO Todd Bennett. “We are thrilled to have the snow for one of our earliest openings ever while still providing the exceptional on-mountain experience Deer Valley is known for.”
The resort will open with numerous chairlifts and ski runs across Bald Eagle and Bald Mountains and will open additional terrain as quickly as snowmaking
operations allow. Daily conditions, as well as lift/run status are available throughout the season at deervalley.com.
