Chairlifts Open Friday, June 23, 2023

DEER VALLEY RESORT; PARK CITY, UTAH (June 22, 2023) – Deer Valley is thrilled to announce that our long-awaited summer chairlift season is finally here! After a winter filled with non-stop snow and a wet spring, we are delighted to open all three summer chairlifts, all trails on the lower Bald Eagle Mountain and most trails on Bald Mountain starting Friday, June 23, 2023.

Our mountain operations team has been working diligently to ensure an amazing experience for bikers and hikers alike. We are excited to share that all the hiking and biking trails on Bald Eagle Mountain, including the top portion of our newest biking trail Ripple will be open to guests tomorrow. As well as our hiking-only trails and many of the intermediate and expert level bike trails on Bald Mountain.

As weather and conditions allow, we will progressively open additional sections of terrain and trails. Current conditions and a full list of planned trail openings is available at deervalley.com/mountainreport and on the Deer Valley Mobile App. Early season conditions exist, guests should be prepared to encounter snowy areas and for evolving trail openings and closures.

Operating from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, the Silver Lake Express and Sterling Express chairlifts are ready to transport riders to stunning views and exhilarating adventures. Additionally, the Homestake Express chairlift will be in operation from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. this season.  

To kick off opening weekend, we have an exclusive offer for bikers! Those
purchasing a biking day lift ticket will also receive a one-time $15 food credit to be used on the same day at Royal Street Café, Royal Street Express, or The Deer Valley Café. (Valid Friday, June 23 through Sunday, June 25, 2023, alcohol not included.)

New this year, our Twilight Ride Series will expand to two nights per week, Tuesdays and Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. from July 6 through August 17, conditions permitting.

As the snow continues to melt away, Deer Valley’s summer season pass is available at a discounted price for $395 if purchased by June 30, 2023.
