On Tuesday, we hosted the third annual Wasatch Back Economic Summit. This event is a partnership between Park City and Heber Valley Chambers of Commerce in which we focus on issues and opportunities facing our communities. As our communities continue to grow, events like this summit are going to increase in importance. As citizens, business owners, and elected officials all gather together to address our challenges, we’ll find positive solutions. If you weren’t able to attend our summit this year, many of the presentations can be found online. I also encourage you to take the feedback survey on that page. With your input, we’ll continue to improve and address the needs of our community. A big thanks to all those who attended, and to both Park City and Heber Valley Chamber staff for putting together a great summit!
We partnered with the Park City Chamber & Visitors Bureau for the return of this year's Wasatch Back Economic Summit. Attendance was great and so was the line up of speakers. Breakout sessions included such topics as regional transportation, employing retention and recruitment, housing needs, sustainable tourism, and tourism-specific Legislative updates. We're looking forward to seeing these conversations continue in the community and throughout the year.
