Helen Keller is often quoted as saying “Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.” Everyday at the Chamber I see the truth of this. In the past 15 days, we had an After Hours Mixer, the Main-to-Main 10K Race, Fun Run, and party in the park, and our Monthly Chamber Luncheon. All of these events take much work, support, and volunteers. We are so grateful to all the different people who helped support these events, giving of their time and energy. It amazes us to see the kindness and generosity of our Chamber members going above and beyond to serve this community. Whether it’s standing on the race course signaling runners where to go, providing a much needed drink station, handing out medals, or setting up displays, inviting people to events, or lending a hand at Chamber lunches, our members always step up to help! Today, we say thank you to all of you. We know working together with you “we can do so much!”
This month's Chamber Luncheon was led by experienced speakers from Park City Toastmasters. We learned tips and techniques to refine a unique "elevator pitch" for any situation. Such skills are crucial in any business setting and in almost all networking situations. Those who attended surely walked away with some great new techniques. Thank you to Lee's Marketplace for sponsoring this month's luncheon.
