And just like that, we’re off into a new year and a new adventure in 2023. At our monthly luncheon this week, we held our annual meeting. This meeting gives us a chance to share with the chamber the successes of 2022 and the goals we are looking for in the new year. (here’s a link to the presentation) We have often used the metaphor that the chamber membership is like a gym membership, fitting for this time of year… The more effort an individual puts into the gym, the more benefit they will get out of it. It is also true with a chamber membership. To that end, we are always looking for participation from our businesses in many different facets. From sitting on a committee to nominating a business of the month or gathering feedback on local hot topics, we want to hear from you! We have the commitment to implement the feedback we hear. Drop us an email, fill out a comment survey, or swing by one of our “Donuts with the Director” meetings throughout the year. These will be low-key, low-pressure events to share your thoughts with the staff and me. We look forward to working with you all in 2023, and for all the memories and success this new year will bring!
