August 2022 Director's Letter

And just like that, school is back in session. What a summer! This past month, we had three impressive events. First, Governor Spencer Cox came to Wasatch County to visit local businesses, and have lunch with the chamber. The very next day we had our annual golf tournament at Soldier Hollow with a packed house. Thanks to our sponsors and all the players who make the tournament “the most fun tournament in Heber Valley.” Finally, just this past week, Red Ledges hosted an After Hours Mixer at the poolside restaurant. Now, as we move into fall, things don’t seem to slow down. We have more activities in store, resuming our chamber lunches in September, After Hour Mixers, and the popular annual holiday gala. There is always more to do to Unite, Connect, and Promote our local businesses. To that end, stay in contact with the chamber by texting “Chamber” to 435-222-5008 for reminders about upcoming lunches and events. Thanks for the great summer. We’re looking forward to a fantastic fall!
