Deer Valley East Village

COMING WINTER 2024/2025!

Deer Valley East Village, part of the "Expanded Excellence" initiative (formerly Mayflower Mountain Resort), will introduce North America's newest world-class alpine village since 1981. Located in northern Heber Valley, Utah, this luxury development features new ski lifts providing year-round access to expansive terrain and scenic views of Jordanelle Reservoir.

The project will include several luxury hotels, over 1,000 private residences, and a walkable shopping and dining area. Ski lifts, runs, and lodging are under construction, with the first lifts set to open in the 2024/25 ski season. A portion of the new ski development is located within a MIDA Project Area . KEY DETAILS:

Two-decade project covering 6,000 acres, with 4,100 skiable acres
17 lifts, including a two-stage gondola, and 130 ski runs
1,200 day-skier parking spots
Longest Utah ski run: 3,200 vertical feet, 5 miles long
Largest ski beach in North America
Up to nine hotel properties — Grand Hyatt Deer Valley first luxury hotel to open winter 2024/25 with some rooms specifically for military
Extensive amenities: day lodge, four restaurants, ski school, ice skating, 11 miles of summer trails
1,800 residential units and 600 workforce housing units
300M gallons of non-culinary water will be needed annually, which is about 1/3 of 1% (294,685M water acres) of water coming from Jordanelle Reservoir in a season (water rights secured from the now non-operational Ontario Mine)
State-of-the-art snowmaking and wildfire mitigation systems with 80% water return to Jordanelle Reservoir
