The Heber Valley Chamber of Commerce would like to recognize Sherwin-Williams as our September Business of the Month. Jeremy Wright, and his team at their Heber City store have been here almost a year, and within that short time they have made their mark on the valley.
Recently, the Community Alliance for Main Street commissioned an art installation on the Heber Valley Chamber of Commerce building. As part of this initiative to add art in public spaces, donations were needed to help the project come to life. Sherwin-Williams as a local interior and exterior paint expert graciously donated paint to the project. This allowed the artist to put on an even uniform base color to start his work.
According to Wright, Sherwin-Williams takes great pride in getting involved and active in the community. Each year the company finds projects in local areas to help support through paint and paint supplies. Wright said this is one of his favorite parts of the job because he loves being able to help make homes and neighborhoods feel better and thus improving the lives of those who live there.
The Heber Valley store is relatively news, as it will celebrate its one-year anniversary in December. Though they may be new to the valley, Sherwin-Williams brings with it over 150 years of experience. Wright, who has been with the company 16 years, said that kind of longevity helps give their customers extensive knowledge in the field. One service many might not know about but come to love is their color consults. Picking paint colors can be difficult with the thousands of different colors there are, not to mention the types of finishes to choose from. By scheduling a color consultation can be very helpful as they help walk their clients through all the options.
For their willingness to jump in and get active in the community, the Heber Valley Chamber is proud to recognized Sherwin-Williams as the business of the month for September.
