October 2020 Business of the Month: Innovative Real Estate
The Heber Valley Chamber would like to recognize Innovative Real Estate as our October Business of the Month. Innovative Real Estate was born when owner Reggan Jastrum could not find a real estate office that was the right fit for her when she moved to Heber in 2012. From 1 employee in 2015 to over 20 employees in 3 offices and 2 states, Innovative Real Estate has grown to become the office it is today. “When you hire Innovative, you don’t just hire one agent, you hire everyone. Everyone works together to get the best outcome for our clients,” said Reggan.
Buying and selling a home is the biggest investment, and one of the most emotional purchases most people make. “It is where you live, where you bring your kids home, where you raise your family. Being a part of that puzzle is really fun for me and my agents,” said Reggan.
The goal of Innovative Real Estate is to provide a higher level of service than anyone else. As one of the largest financial decisions most people make, Reggan feels people should expect the “top-shelf service.” In these times of technology, some agencies are using iPhones instead of high-quality photos and professional signage. Innovative Real Estate prides themselves on helping homes look the best they can. High-quality photos and aerial photography are just two of the things Innovative uses to help their client’s properties stand out.
is also Women in Business month. Reggan also co-founded the Wasatch Women’s Business Alliance. Starting in 2016, the Wasatch Women’s Business Alliance is a place for networking and developing community support for local businesses registered and/or licensed by Women in Wasatch County. Reggan and co-founder MeriAnn Boxall started the organization because as women in business, they were not finding the resources and connections in the valley that they were looking for as they were growing their business.
Reggan serves on the Chamber Advisory Board. One of her favorite parts of serving on the chamber board is the people. She said, “It is the best way to connect with other people. I have met people I wouldn’t otherwise have met, that have become trusted friends and advisors.”
Making connections to help businesses grow is a big reason to get involved with the Chamber, said Reggan. Real Estate is a people business and a networking business. Meeting people through the chamber has helped her develop relationships with other businesses in the valley which has led to partnerships and even a few clients.
“Our community is unique,” said Reggan. “Heber has a great sense of community. Everyone wants Heber to be better. Everyone loves it here. Being involved allows you to contribute. If you don’t use your voice, who will?”
For her continued service and dedication to Women in Business, the Heber Valley Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize Reggan Jastrum and Innovative Real Estate as the October Business of the Month.
