What began as one brother opening an orthodontia practice in Vernal, Utah, grew to expand operations in Heber City, Utah. Originally from Heber Valley, Dr. William Wright attended BYU for his undergraduate studies, then went on to the University of Missouri at Kansas City where he graduated with honors in his DDS program. Dr. William Wright resides full-time in Vernal, Utah with his wife and family which now consists of six children and four grandchildren. He started a Heber practice in 1999 due to the need for such services in Heber Valley, which he discovered during his frequent return visits to see his parents.

The year that William Wright opened the Heber orthodontics office is the same year his younger brother, Dr. Todd Wright, graduated from high school. Dr. Todd originally had plans of going on to a university for a degree in engineering, but he wasn’t sure about being stuck behind a desk all day and wanted an opportunity to be around other people throughout the day. After spending some time with his older brother, Dr. William, Todd discovered that through orthodontia care he could have the best of both his wishes – the work required skills similar to those of an engineer and he would be surrounded by a variety of people throughout the day. Dr. Todd attended Utah State University for his undergraduate program, then received his Master of Science degree in orthodontics from the University of Oklahoma in 2012.

Upon returning to Heber Valley following his advanced schooling, Dr. Todd graciously joined his brother’s practice and became the primary Orthodontist at Wright Orthodontics for the Heber City office. Todd became an official partner at Wright Orthodontics in 2015. He loves serving the people in the community where he was born and raised, and where he is raising his own family.

Both brothers are very active within the orthodontics and dental worlds – sitting on a variety of boards and holding positions of leadership over the years. Dr. Todd loves the Heber Valley and is focused on being involved and giving back to the residents here. From giveaways to community parties to fun celebrations throughout the year, Dr. Todd and his wonderful team are always looking for ways to be part of the community and give back.

The office location for Wright Orthodontics is a former dental office that Dr. William Wright purchased years ago then renovated. The location is due for another update with an exciting remodel coming soon to give the building a refreshed façade. More to come on that later this year! In the meantime, the Wright Orthodontics team continues to offer top-tier orthodontic services and strives to set the standard in services and care, not just locally, but nationwide.
