July 2021 Business of the Month: Fernweh Lifestyle
At Fernweh Lifestyle, the owners envisioned an inspiring space drawn from cultures around the world. Their hope is to provoke a love for wild and beautiful places, and to showcase items that allow guests to see and experience things from other parts of the globe. Promoting a happy lifestyle through their products, the owners have selected a collection they love to fill their store.
When asked about their curation of products, Jill Seare said, “Our business ideas support our vision by offering an eclectic range of goods with a discerning taste for authentic, well designed, and timeless pieces.”
Both owners, Jill Seare and Emily Jenkins, speak passionately about their store and their mission. Over the five years since they opened in Midway, they have continued to grow their offerings and customer base. In addition to their primary storefront, the shop also offers floral arrangements and design, professional home design services, all types of flooring products and services, and even has a great candy wall that is loved by adults and kids alike.
Formerly the site of Robert Duncan Studios, a local, renowned painter and artist, the Fernweh Lifestyle store transformed the building into a true treasure trove just waiting for the next customer to walk through and find that “must have” item. Whether looking for a unique gift, something for your home or office, or just wanting to peruse this fun boutique shop, be sure to say hello to the friendly staff and owners. Fernweh is conveniently open Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm and is located right on Midway Main Street as you are entering the heart of Midway town.
