August 2022 Business of the Month: Uinta Recreation
Committed to providing excellent service, new equipment, and memorable experiences, owner Adam Pulley started Uinta Recreation in 2006 to service visitors and locals who wanted to explore and play along the Wasatch Back, in the Uinta Mountains, and throughout the valley and beyond. Working solely with BRP (Bombardier Recreational Products) to provide brand new machines each season, Uinta Rec. runs Can-Am side-by-sides for off-road exploration, Sea-Doo watercraft for lake recreation, and Ski-Doo snowmobiles for winter fun. Operating from its newer location on US Highway 40, the owner recently added Transition mountain bikes and e-bikes to its fleet of equipment, and also offers inflatable paddle boards and kayaks as well.
Customers can pick up from the shop or secondary convenient location in town (summer) and near Strawberry Reservoir (winter) and ride directly from the pickup location. Uinta Rec. also offers trailer rentals for users who want to rent and ride elsewhere but need a trailer to transport the rentals. In addition, guided excursions are available for most activities and for customers who prefer an expert to lead the way.
With extensive experience and a history of excellent service in Heber Valley, Uinta Recreation thrives on all the positive reviews, word-of-mouth from happy customers, and referrals to friends and family. The owner is also committed to leaving a positive impact in our local community. Uinta Recreation supports the high school mountain bike team each season with monetary contributions and equipment support. And the shop does an annual used helmet sale where all proceeds benefit a local charity or cause, often the local food pantry receives the funds from the sale. Adam and his team work hard to offer a great product and service in Heber Valley, and their commitment to the community is well-recognized and appreciated.
