Back 40 Ranch House and Grill: Formerly a biker bar, this favorite local’s hot spot has two outdoor patio seating areas that overlook the North Forty acreage with striking views of Mt. Timpanogos. Saturdays and Sundays serve up live music from local musicians on the patio with seasonal cocktails and a full bar menu. Location: 1223 US-40, Heber City, Utah 84032 

Black Rock Mountain Resort: This luxury resort features a fun and upscale bar named On The Rocks Bar offering stunning views overlooking Jordanelle Reservoir. The bar features local live music throughout the year. The onsite restaurant is also an excellent dining experience that is unrivaled by anything else in that area. Location: 909 W Peace Tree Trail, Heber City, Utah 84032

Heber Valley Brewing Company: This small-batch brewery in Heber has a quaint taproom with rotating local beers on tap. Guests are encouraged to call ahead and ask which beers are being poured if they have a specific beer they are looking to try. Stop by for a local brew in the taproom or swing through and purchase some to take home. Hidden Ace at Grand Hyatt Deer Valley: Tucked underground, Hidden Ace is where live performances by local legends meet a curated whisky-forward cocktail menu. Savor the sounds of crafted talent while enjoying drinks and elevated bites such as local fondue. Here, the music and the menu come together for an experience like no other. Lobby Lounge at Zermatt: Located on the third floor of Hotel der Baer, just above the lobby, The Pub at Zermatt is open nightly from 5 to 10 pm and serves up a full bar offering of wines, beers, and mixed beverages. The double French doors open to a walk-out balcony with indoor and outdoor seating. Location: 784 West Resort Drive, Midway, Utah 84049 

Melvin’s Public House: Known as Heber City’s only family-friendly sports pub, this local establishment serves great pub cuisine alongside a full bar in a sports pub setting. Family-friendly and all-age seating is available in one section of the restaurant, separate 21+ seating is available in the bar area, and the outdoor patio offers live and local music on Friday nights. Visitors are welcome to rub elbows with the locals at this fun pub in town. Location: 139 North Main Street, Heber City, Utah 84032

Midway Mercantile: The hearth-to-table concept of this finer dining establishment has built a dedicated following among locals and visitors alike. The menu is carefully curated by the owner and chef, John Platt. The wine, beer, and cocktail menu lends well to the delectable menu offerings. The outdoor patio is a lovely dining experience any time of day and the separate belly-up bar provides top-notch service from friendly bartenders and servers. The owners and staff pride themselves on catering to guests' needs and being open later to provide service to all hungry and thirsty patrons. The Lakehouse at Deer Creek: The Lakehouse has been named one of Utah’s most unique dining experiences and reviewed as “Uniquely Delicious.” Located on the shores of Deer Creek with breathtaking views of Mount Timpanogos, this year-round waterfront restaurant and bar serves as a daytime grill with a delicious Utah heritage menu. Truffle Hollow Pub: This quaint space is located inside the beautiful Blue Boar Inn property.
