The Wasatch 50 (formerly Wasatch Back) course is a truly epic route through some of Utah’s beautiful high country. This 21-mile loop ( /-) features roughly 1,700 feet of climbing per lap and tackles almost the entirety of the Coyote Loop Trail starting and finishing at the UVU-Wasatch Campus. The course features prolonged climbing, the majority of which is on purpose built singletrack, featuring awesomely switchbacked trails that takes you to the courses high point of 7,500 feet. From there, it’s ripping singletrack through Aspens and rock-strewn descents as you traverse and then work your way counter-clockwise back to the start/finish where you’ll either finish if you are one of the single-lap categories, or brace yourself for another lap for expert and pro categories. Be prepared for a challenging day of awesome singletrack.
