Cascade Springs

Cascade Springs is a beautiful natural spring in the Wasatch-Cache-Uinta National Forest, a short scenic drive from Heber Valley along the Alpine Loop Scenic Backway. This peaceful spot features clear pools, cascading waterfalls, and lush vegetation. Cascade Springs offers a peaceful retreat into nature, making it a perfect stop for visitors exploring Heber Valley.

Seven million gallons of water a day flow down a series of limestone terraces and pools among lush vegetation.

Visitor Information:

Fees: Driving the roadway is free. Stopping at any point requires a fee. Three-day, seven-day, and annual passes are available for purchase.
No Water Access: The water is protected. People and dogs are not allowed in the water.
Seasonal Access: Due to heavy snowfall, the byway is typically closed during winter months (October - May). It's advisable to check current road conditions here before planning your trip.
